I have received approx 800 Registration forms from Clubs and without exception so far, some are having to be returned as they are incomplete due to wrong – incomplete names, former Clubs etc. I intend to register all the correct ones before I return the incorrect ones, so the League will not be responsible for some players not being registered before the season starts.

Accordingly, will you kindly re-check all your forms before submitting them for registration.

The League wish to announce that Ynysddu Crusaders FC have decided in the best interests for the future of their Club to transfer into the Gwent
County League for Season 2012/2013. The League wish to record their best wishes to Ynysddu Crusaders who following 64 years continuous Membership are the oldest Club in the history of the League.
Notice has also been received that Penygraig AFC have withdrawn from the League. As a result there will be no relegation from the Second Division and new Clubs Aberfan SDC and Clwb Cymric (Cardiff) will fill the vacancies.

I have now received registration forms for season 2012/13 and the thought is to issue these to Clubs at the Annual General Meeting.
However, for Clubs wishing to have these prior to the A.G.M. please contact me to arrange to collect them.

Would all Clubs please note that pre season friendlies are only permitted 28 days prior to the commencement of the season on 1st August.
It has been noticed that some Clubs are trying to arrange friendlies in June.
In any event, permission for any friendlies should be obtained through Mrs Emma Bennett.
